Our gameplan is just political common sense. The question that drives and inspires the Bigger Tent Initiative’s work is as straightforward as you can get: how do we earn support from more people in more places?
The Bigger Tent Initiative aims to help reclaim America and build a lasting anti-authoritarian majority, by investing in campaigns that build the broader coalition of voters required to win elections in battleground places throughout our country. We fund sustained, locally anchored organizing and communications campaigns that earn the support of voters in working class communities based on shared values and priorities.
We believe the key to reclaiming our country is not moving our tent to the left or right – it’s building a bigger tent. We can bring the left and the center together by focusing on common ground: the values and priorities that voters in working-class communities share with the Democratic base.

Now is the time to come together to demand that our elected representatives start fighting for hard working people and their families so we have the tools and opportunities to build a good life.
Strong paychecks mean thriving local businesses. Secure families mean stronger communities. A booming working class isn't just good for working people — it's a good deal for every American in every neighborhood.
That's the fight we're in. And it starts with putting working people back in the driver's seat.
